I was a guest speaker at the Wild Ones St. Charles Chapter winter speaker series in January 2022. The group initially wanted to learn how to use the #iNaturalist app and how to get the most out of it. While preparing my slides, I learned that there were about 200 plant identification apps available on the Apple App Store and Google Playstore. What was originally a focus on iNaturalist turned into a comparison between this app and five others.
A heads up: The recorded presentation will be 55 minutes long. Whether you're unfamiliar or familiar with the iNaturalist mobile and desktop versions, there will be information worth jotting down. So, grab a pen and paper (or a snack) and enjoy the presentation.
